Highly unlikely this was an accident. A 57-year-old cyclist and a train? Sounds more like suicide staged as an accident so his family wouldn't be denied death benefits.

A Google street view shows the tracks are above street level so it wasn't at a crossing. At 9:50 PM, the light on the train would be blinding.

A check of his internet browsing history would likely show he checked the train schedule before cycling over.
