The really bad part is that the GOP leadership knew by June of 2017 (by Trey Gowdy’s admission) that it was junk and yet continued to assist the Democrats to keep it going long after that.

Nobody’s actually been charged with conspiracy though, so it remains to be seen how much leeway a judge will give him based on that.
