I believe it was Sputnik 2 that carried Laika, a dog into space. Of course they had no way of getting her back, so there she died. It seemed that more people were outraged by her death than all those killed in the short-lived Hungarian Revolution of 1956.

I can understand it in a way. I place way more value on my dog’s life than I do about the lives of many people I read about.

There were no reports from the DM when BLM activists killed several dogs in a shelter in New York City during the riots.

On one video on alternative media, there was had a huge, black, guy holding up and shaking a screaming puppy.
