Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie strongly oppose giving judges more discretion to order bail or jail for defendants they deem dangerous, on the grounds that New York judges are racists. And that claim is even more ridiculous than it seems.

Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie gave an example to support his remarks. “There was an incompetent judge that let child molesters out on bail repeatedly and when they were convicted, gave them sentences well below the minimum guidelines for that type of crime. That is outrageous! That judge should never be a judge in the first place. She lacks the temperament to be a judge!”

Democrats are delusional. They will blame the gun, gun, gun. They never hold the individual accountable for horrible acts. Its never the drugs, the alcohol, the decadence or repeated behavior. They deny individuals have free will. Its the gun or the fault of racism. Wherever Democrats take power, the place becomes unlivable.
