On Friday’s “PBS NewsHour,” New York Times columnist David Brooks said that Strategic Petroleum Reserve releases “never” work and he is “guardedly skeptical” that President Joe Biden’s plan to release from the SPR “is going to do much” to lower gas prices.

And, this observation about OPEC does, VERY CLEARLY, demonstrate the efficacy of the US being, once again, energy independent.

The Dems want to empty the Oil Reserve
I thought skepticism was a guarded response.
Releasing oil from the strategic reserve will do NOTHING to ease the short term price of oil. It will weaken the use by using a strategic reserve in a vain attempt to ease a DeomicRat caused inflation crisis.
The oil rollout does succeed in anther Democrat goal. It reduces our strategic war reserves.
I just happen to run across it and it still sounds like a good advise.
If the current administration is in office much longer, canned goods, a generator, water and ammunition would be your best investment.

When a leftist like Brooks disses Biden, then we know Biden is in real trouble.
OPEC is saying to themselves: “That damn fool Biden is giving away his countries security and all we have to do is reduce our production by an equal amount and still make tons of money”
