"Retired four-star US army Gen. Jack Keane said Sunday he believes Ukrainians have a good chance of defeating Russia — while claiming the White House has been encouraging Ukraine to “make a deal’’ with Moscow to end the war......
....Keane added that an “excellent source” told him President Biden’s administration has been encouraging Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to “make a deal” with the Russians, which he called “shameful.” His claim has not been independently verified.......

And you and I don't.
For that matter, most of the rest of the bigger governments know who is running the US...
Smells like neocon globalist usurpers to me.
Keane agreed with Milley about the “inappropriateness” of walking across Lafayette Square with Trump after that church got torched.
Saw him on Fox say this. I lost all respect for him that day.
/spit
General Keane is a pretty basic military analyst. He absolutely predicted a quick Russian victory at the beginning. Even when the Russians seemed to have been slowed down, he said it was admirable but the result would be the same.
Now he thinks Ukraine can win. That is a big switch.
Win at this point would be the Russians leave without getting anything in return. I’d love to see it, but doubt it.
Most four-star woke generals are in court fighting their lesbian wives for control of the shampooed poodle, and don’t have time to think about a contrived, deep state war.
I appreciate his service.
I just know that people his age don't have access to or the capability of using the latest methods of information acquisition.
People get old.
MacGregor became an apologist for Russia a few years ago.
And generals outrank colonels.
As I wrote just above - people get old.
At times, they start trusting information sources that shouldn't be trusted.
Here or in Russia?
I’ve paid attention to Gen Keane over the years and respect his service, but find his analysis of the current conflict terribly weak. Just assertion after assertion with little to no insight how he comes to his conclusions.
Exactly! Yeah sure, Ukraine could go the Gorilla War route, but I think that would be apesh!t crazy. Plus, I still suspect that the Russians have their on supply of gorillas in cryo. See this:

Not sure the Admin would let me post the photo of how I want Putin to look just like Mussolini.
Anywhere.
If I have a Billion dollars to spend but there is no place to spend it or where there is an open market I don’t need what they’re selling, is it still worth a Billion dollars?
Russia’s currency took a nice jump.
Now, they have more bang for their Ruble.
But where? They’re cut off.
Their Ruble can be worth more than gold and it means very little if they have no place to use it.
Rubbish. I’ll wager Keane is three times as sharp and 50 times as well-informed as you.
Whining all day about neocon globalists and kooky conspiracy theories that hidden supranational, secret organizations control our government does not make you well-informed.
It makes you Alex Jones.
I believe it.
I also know leadership types like him, and they just don't the computer informational skills to re-invent themselves in the information space after a certain age. No reflection on Keane - you either have to be brought up with this stuff [I call them "The Video Children"], or be in that small percentage of people my age that can shift gears into the technology.
I actually had to go outside Free Republic to find credible sources about what's going on.
I don't usually have to do that.
The stuff on BOTH sides on the board here is mostly useless chaff.
Have a good day.
The Esso station Mussolini?
Putilini on a hook?
Yeah, we oldsters can’t figure out how to use those dang computer devises 😜
LOL...good one.
Yes, heels up Putilini
