Dallas will soon roll out a pilot program that will let residents who may have difficulty getting a government-issued ID use their library cards instead.

Isn’t that racist because 1 in 4 black people is allegedly unable to acquire any kind of government issued ID?
We stlll have libraries? Thought the left would have gotten rid of those by now.
No mention of proof who these people are.
How many cards will be faked by same person
Currently anyone in Texas can get a state ID card
Even free
This is an open door for fraud
“digital equity.” Another leftist catch-phrase.
every library i’ve had a card to required a government id to get it
Then eventually can be used to vote?
Notice the say “residents”, not “citizens”.
We all know what this is
But no way to stop it
They'd probably have to get something passed by the state legislature to accomplish that, but I'm sure they're working on it. One look at the organization's logo tells you all you need to know...
I don’t believe that 25% of the black populace doesn’t have a government photo id.
You can’t buy smokes or malt liquor without a photo id. If 25% of the black population was locked out of buying menthols and Colt 45 American corporations would have demanded this situation is resolved.
Has that fourth unable to get ID ever been in a library in their life?
