Why didn’t Kennedy vote? It wouldn’t have made a difference, but it would have forced Harris to come to the Senate and cast a tiebreaker vote.

My guess is the GOP wanted to deny the whore Harris the glory of returning to the Senate chamber to cast the deciding vote to promote a black woman to a position of power. It would have been a media circus. I am glad that now we do not have to witness this. I suspect same thing might happen for KBJ's vote to the Supreme Court.
