Conservative activist Scott Presler is traveling the nation to urge Americans who are sick of "failed Democrat policies" and rising gas prices to register to vote as Republicans while cleaning up the streets of trash-infested cities along the way.
"A major reason why I’m conservative and why this issue is so important to me is… our government is taking care of foreign nationals over the American people and my heart is with 50,000 homeless veterans. My heart is with 500,000 homeless Americans," Presler told Fox News Digital.
He began his journey in the summer of 2019 when then-President Trump famously criticized Baltimore as a "disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess" that "no human being" would choose to live in. The remarks hit home with Presler, the son of a retired Navy captain, who first decided to get involved with Republican activism when he became upset while watching Barack Obama get reelected in 2012.

I can’t remember who it is, but someone has a tagline that bemoans the fact that veterans are homeless while other stuff is being funded.

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.
“Failed’ Democrat policies” should be defined as financing the reelection campaigns of desperate Democrats with unaccountable, unconstitutional government spending.

Yes, I remember him well. Very passionate, lots of energy.
Litter, trash and such is a “broken windows” type issue.
Left to fester, other conditions worsen.
Many years ago a bunch of us decided to pick up all the trash and litter in a local park. The ridiculous part was there was no lack of trash cans around the park.
After we totally cleaned the park, it was generally kept fairly unlittered from then on. People started respecting the park more once the Park looked more respectful.
The city even noticed and replaced all the trash cans with better ones and a few placed more strategic to what had been the highest litter areas.
This is a good beginning but there are much larger issues involved here which aren’t addressed by simply picking up trash, fixing a few broken windows or washing off graffiti
But it is a start, and if you have some other ideas and time to do so, then take on a project yourself. The idea I think he is promoting is activism that shows that republicans are not sitting on the sidelines, or just commenting, or expecting government to step in and make amends.
Showing respect for the down & out, for those who lack the ability and or funds to do something for themselves, is usually noticed. One doesn’t have to proclaim what party you are registered with...people can usually figure it out.
I would help him out if he was in my area and he had interactions outside Twitter and Facebook....I don’t tread in that universe
This is exactly the kind of thing that proves the superiority of conservatism and provides such a valuable contrast.
They the progressives loot and burn and pillage and conduct lawlessness in their cordoned-off zones.
We the conservatives clean up. We’re respectful. Tea Partiers did this in 2010, would show up with brooms and in general the National Mall was cleaner _after_ the tea party than when the party began.
It’s too bad so many conservatives shun activism. We always were the best activists when we tried it and its a great way to take back the culture.

Funny thing- i live in the liberal craphole known as NY. I am surrounded by LW scum. I fly “RESIST” flags (to stick it back at the libs), “DON’T TREAD ON ME” flags and i even have a flag which says, “25th Amendment Now!!” flying from my 25 foot flag pole. I got into it one day with a guy down the road who had Biden signs around his house prior to the ‘20 election. I wanted to know where his Biden signs were now (last December) and told him i hope he went bankrupt trying to heat his home over the winter.
Yet twice a year, March and November, I am the only guy around here walking up and down the streets in my neighborhood cleaning up all the trash on the streets. I’ve done that the past 15 years now. I did my March clean up last Wednesday, and filled up two trashbags. Yet according to the dirtbag libs around me, I am the one who hates the environment since I am a Conservative Trump supporter!!! Go figure!!
