I had to call a professor friend of mine from a geology college in the UP of Michigan and get his opinion. He is one of the lead men in the study of the Mid Continental Rift. Wont explain that to you but you can research that on your own. I sometimes go out and collect rock samples for him and send them back there for his dept to use in the instruction of their students.
So he swallows the hook and gets on here while we are on the phone. He reads some of the posts and says to me..”Some of those qualifications are impressive.” “Ask them if they can walk on water and turn water into wine.” LOL!
Goes on to say, “We really do not know whether there will be a nuclear winter or not since there wont be anyone left to find out after.” “What we do know is that from those tests done, with smaller weapons, in the western USA, these same “experts” are most likely responsible for more deaths in the world from cancers, etc, than any war ever fought in worlds history.” “That fallout went worldwide, not only from those tests, but tests done from every nuclear country on earth.”
He then asked me why I liked to visit a political website that claims to have but a few hundred thousand members, which can not even fund itself with those members. I couldnt answer.
He, and I, are of the opinion that this country should be split into several regions, since no one region should held responsible for the welfare of the other. Like me, he hates politicians.
LOL...my work at Dow resulted in better process control and less pollution, in several cases by major factors. But, once again, you prove that you are incapable of civil discussion.
Oh, and Dow is cleaning up previously-spilled chemicals at all their plant sites, and have been since 1985.
