"The President’s point was that Putin cannot be allowed to exercise power over his neighbors or the region. He was not discussing Putin’s power in Russia or regime change."

Biden has nothing to fear from Putin.

Biden has a fully paid up Kamala life insurance policy.

There is something to be said for executing traitors...

Are you talking about Hunter Biden, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry?? And just maybe 'the big guy'?

Here in America is the top priority. The rest of them we’ll have to worry about later.

Democrats do a lot of projection - or it’s just a tactic to stop us when we discover what they’re up to...

Can we assume democrats will accuse us of voter fraud in the upcoming midterms?

Why, because he opposes Putin? Is that, in your mind, the litmus test for determining whose “fake” and who isn’t?

But I do support regime change in Russia.

Then you’re a Biden supporter. Go back to DU

Medvedev said the other day that anyone hoping for Putin to be deposed should consider that the most likely outcome of that would be “half a dozen rogue states run by fanatics” (more or less his words) all of whom would inherit some part of Russia’s nuclear arsenal.

Since he (Medvedev) is probably the most credible person who might take over power in Russia in Putin’s absence, if that’s his assessment then who would be able to prevent that sort of outcome, which is clearly worse than having Putin stay in power? It doesn’t indicate a person who believes he himself could hold things together. Opposition figures, half of whom are in jail or in hiding, don’t seem to have much support. There is no obvious logical successor. A military junta sort of approach would only be a temporary fix.

Of course Medvedev might be just saying what the boss wants to hear him say, and he might have different opinions. He certainly did a very capable job in top positions but he never developed the following that Putin had, he was just seen as Putin’s number two guy and supportable on that basis when the constitution demanded that Putin back off from being president (2008-2012). Otherwise he served as prime minister at Putin’s pleasure and was demoted around the beginning of 2020 when Putin succeeded in changing the constitution to put more power in his sole leadership role (and abolished the term limits).

Medvedev has always presented himself as a Putin associate and loyalist, even after the 2020 soft coup. He doesn’t seem like the person that Soros-Schwab might have groomed to take over. You have to wonder if they have anyone ready, or just hope to exploit the situation and find somebody on the fly. And there seems to be rather limited interest in the globalist agenda in Russia. Their sort of political program got about 10% of the vote in the 2018 elections. There are more old-school communists in political opposition in Russia than new-world reformers. (closer to 20%, the other 70% are or at least were before this time Vladimir Putin’s support base). This Ukraine misadventure cannot have increased Putin’s support but the question is, to what extent has it damaged his brand in Russia? Outside Russia of course his name is mud, but as with Trump, international hostility can be a positive thing if exploited skilfully.

Who the f*** is running the show? Biden didn’t make some off-the-cuff remark. He READ THE TELEPROMPTER!! If this isn’t what they meant for him to say, it wouldn’t have been on the screen. Sounds like you have some D-level flunkies back in DC, clutching their pearls, wringing their hands, and second-guessing the team in Poland: “Ooohhh - that sounds kinda harsh.”; “Duude - sure does! What if Putin doesn’t like that?! He could start WW3!!!”.

More than coincidence that this occurs while Peppermint Pattie is back in D.C. with the ‘rona?

It is obvious the Russkies made Biden make a total fool of himself by hacking the teleprompter, right?

Yeah, I do agree with you. I’m really concerned about what Putin’s reaction to Biden’s remarks is gonna be.
One of my daughters is getting married next month. She and her fiancé are going to honeymoon in Italy. At least that’s the plan. Who knows what’s going to happen by then…
That’s my immediate concern.

I would not worry about Putin—he is the adult in the room—he knows Biden is a pathetic puppet for US oligarchs.
