I see big, rough, tough biker types, construction hard hat types and all manner of big men come into the ER I work in and almost to a man when the nurses start getting ready to draw blood or give an injection these same tough guys go white as sheets and ask ‘’ Is this going to hurt?’’
If these guys are behaving like gentlemen the nurses usually say ‘’ Oh, just little’’
And if they’re being jerks or they obnoxious drunks I’ve heard a number nurses answer that question saying “Oh no, it’s not going to hurt me a bit’’.

There’an Aussie vet on youtube channel Bondi Vet...he’s dealt with salt water crocs, delivered difficult foals and calves, poisonuous snakesdoes all kinds of surgeries and yet...when he needed an anti-venom shot he actually grew faint almost passing out and had to lie down....and he’s about 6’-6” extremely fit.
