A Russian army commander has been killed by a group of demoralised soldiers fed up with the scale of losses during the invasion of Ukraine, Western officials have said.
The commander of the 37th rifle brigade, named by officials as Colonel Medvechek, is understood to have been run over by one of his own soldiers who had grown frustrated by his unit's heavy losses.

“Ukraine is done.”
Isn’t it done since 4 weeks ? Are you a neocon ?
Ohhh. “Western Officials.”
Knew him well. And, his father Ralph Officials.
>>> 37th rifle “brigade” existed between 1922 and September 1941. They could at least check it out before making the crap up. <<<
Hold on, Comrade.
The 37th Motor Rifle Brigade was listed as an active unit of the Tashkent Military District and that was back on Mar 21, 2019 well before the current drama in Ukraine.

So at least check your crap out before posting it. (-;
Just take a look at these neocon lies !
Do you realize that Tajikistan and Russia are different countries?
CNN reported that Biden was heard yelling, “Let me at em! Lemme at am! Give me a gun! I’ll fight those commies!!!”
Don’t confuse LaserJet with logic when he or she has a good Emotive Rant going on!
Could result in the normal name-calling so regularly employed by the supporters of the MSM Ukraine narrative and propaganda.
Not just Ukraine. the longer this war continues the worse for russia ...but also the worse for the USA and the west.
This is the Russian who was run over “Colonel Yuri Medvedev”.
Video of him.

Not conclusive if he died.
Yup. And Tajiks are dying in the war, too.

Also, Tashkent is in Uzbekistan, not Tajikistan.
The 37th MRB is quite a storied unit in Soviet history and whether the current unit is a Russian unit designation reconstituted for the war or an Uzbek unit under Russian command the fact remains that the unit is quite real and is not merely a thing of the past.
BTW, the 37th MRB was always an Uzbek unit.
Knowing that the unit is likely an Uzbek unit under Russian command makes the news of the commander’s murder less offensive than thinking it was a Russian who killed the man.
Fragging, like in Viet Nam.
Ukraine has become Russia’s Vietnam…
A lot of broken stuff and dead people of ambiguous provenance compiled from various social media accounts into a TikTok video. Some of it appears to be Russian, other stuff, who knows? So what?
Again, my point stands. It's all unverifiable.
Where are the war correspondents in the field? Almost the entirety of Western MSM war reporting consists of doing nothing more than repeating the tweets from a small handful of bluecheck Ukrainian Twitter accounts. And they're repeating these claims as fact!
I could post videos of Azov committing war crimes but the Twitter accounts who posted those videos were suspended. Why were they suspended?
I have learned this over the past six years. Twitter has never, not once, suspended an account for lying.
“Why were they suspended?”
NWO Nazis ?
By bad, Uzbekistan, but it doesn’t make a difference. If there are Uzbeks, they aren’t a part of their military. The article is still a dim-witted BS.
The article you have just posted is a lie for the reason explained above. There is no 37th brigade and no such colonel.
