Pray Do Tell, Mrs. Patel: Home Sec Tells Pranksters UK Ready to Deprive Russians of Basic Rights

The Home Secretary confirmed last week that she had been tricked into a conversation with Russian pranksters posing as the Ukrainian prime minister soon after Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said he too had been targeted by a “Russian imposter.” Each of the conversations have shed light on the UK’s behind-the-scenes position on the Ukraine crisis.

Russian pranksters Vladimir ‘Vovan’ Kuznetsov and Alexei ‘Lexus’ Stolyarov released the full video of their conversation with UK Home Secretary Priti Patel while disguised as Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. The clip offers insights into the Home Office’s response to the crisis between the West and Russia, from lobbying within Interpol aimed at kicking Russia out of the international policing body, to the seizure of Russian tycoon-owned assets and even ‘special screening’ for Russian nationals seeking to enter the UK.

Interpol

Commenting on her government’s efforts to eject Russia from Interpol, Patel complained that the body’s reaction so far has “absolutely feeble” and “very weak.” “They should’ve just gone for a blanket suspensions because of the barbarians that Russia are basically and the way in which they abuse Interpol systems,” Patel said. She promised to pursue the matter with the UK’s Five Eyes intelligence alliance, and the US especially. “This is also a test for America to get leaning into the system and to really make sure that we can have tougher measures against Russia,” she said.

The home secretary assured that support for Britain’s position wasn’t limited to Western countries, and that Kenya has been “a big ally and a big supporter and a big voice.”

Patel also offered insight into the ‘I’ll scratch your back, you scratch mine’ politics in international organizations like Interpol. “We need to work with the United Arab Emirates. General [Ahmed Naser] Al-Raisi was elected to Interpol, and of course......

Here in the USA, over 75 years after the conclusion of WW2, we are told to be ashamed of the fact that persons of Japanese descent were confined to internment camps during the hostilities. Well, we should be ashamed of that.
But at the time there was a lot of fear and uncertainty. At least it seems to have occurred to people at the time that it made sense to isolate a certain category of people and put them under guard. Of course, there were probably people to whom it made no sense and to whom it seemed wrong. Court cases can take a long time to be brought, heard, appealed. So I am not sure how many of these actions reached the Supreme Court (or when).
So GW Bush was all keen on teaching us that “Islam is a religion of peace”. But now ... is there anyone speaking up for Russians - generic Russians (strange distinction, but I hope you understand)?
BTW - I wonder how Edward Snowden is getting along in his adopted country. Maybe he broke some laws, but he seems to have understood when it was time to relocate. Some would say, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.” Well, I have not been beaten down so badly (yet) that I am willing to join those who are destroying the USA. But I have spoken with a few who feel an ideological kinship with Mr. Snowden.
If any of us had seen what Snowden was seeing, would we have also seen the writing on the wall of the Deep State monolith? Or have we already seen it, but we just keep whistling past the graveyard?

Today the Poles want free speech ended in the EU. Now the Brits want to go after individual Russians. Zelinsky outlawed all political parties that don’t agree with him, and consolidated all media into one Uke channel so he could “unify” the message. Azov is running around with SS runes on their helmets and bodies. American middle class is hit with crippling sanctions and our media is in full lockstep with Biden.

All in the name of “democracy”.

Snowden’s original destination was not Russia.
He was headed for SouthAmerica after a hasty departure from HongKong.

He was trapped In Russia by a very high level USG official (can’t recall who, but State I believe (who admitted it)) who canceled his passport while transiting Russia in order to make it appear that Snowden was a flat out traitor.

Snowden’s original itinerary HongKong-Moscow-Havana-to a maybe non extraditable Ecuador or other SA country.
Don’t know of any direct HKG-Ecuador flights or non US controlled airspace to get there, seems a reasonable choice.
Your thoughts now ?
