I just saw those comments. Insane is, I think, a severe understatement. Some of the commenters are most likely paid trolls. They can’t all be that stupid.

The comments under the Hill article are absolutely insane. It's Disqus, mouth-breather central headquarters. If a media website uses that instead of creating its own comment forum, it's because the site administrators know it comes pre-loaded with people who will deflect any rational questions and comments which make the writers uncomfortable.

Yeah the Hill is an absolute cesspool of leftists. I bash them constantly and they almost always delete my comments. I posted something this morning and 2 minutes later it was gone. If Trump wins in 2024 seeing them cry again is going to be utterly orgasmic, I absolutely detest these people
