But Russia has to assume, everything they lose in Ukraine will end up in the US being researched.

As will be everything we give Ukraine. Javelins, Stingers, you name it. One reason the State Dept squashed Poland’s Mig deal was that the Polish Migs have advanced western avionics systems that the Russian Migs conceivably don’t have and losing one to Russia would’ve compromised this tech.

unfortunately, they captured just the command module, probably the least important part ....
