The main reason Russia has been holding out in the south is they can resupply by sea. Everywhere else it has to be by truck, and those trucks are being carved up by infantry with AGTMs.
If Ukraine can start inflicting damage on the sea lanes the Russian campaign in along the coast will also stop.
