OAKLAND, Calif. - A double shooting at a gas station in East Oakland has left one man dead and a woman hospitalized with serious injuries.
A man named Rodney Davis, whom witnesses described as an innocent bystander, was shot and killed Saturday just before 8:30 p.m. at a gas station on 102nd Avenue and International Boulevard.

Thirty years ago, around 10:00 PM, I was getting gas in Oakland. I heard gunshots about two blocks away. Black station attendant didn’t even look up.
OAKLAND has been a total shithole for a very long time.
I was only ever there once. Went to a place called The Club. Saw Celebrity Skin and Grandpas Become a Fungus. It was a fun evening.
