Exactly true. We forced Japan’s hand which began their expansion into South-East Asia. And so began a 4 year campaign to push them back. And that resulted in us nuking Japan and killing thousands of civilians instantly and another million over time due to the radiation.
Japan was grinding China into a bloody mess. They were not forced into WWII. They literally started it long before we did anything.
