How can the Russians be retreating? They ran out of gas two weeks ago. Who gave the retreat order? All Russian generals have been slaughtered. Where did these Russian troops come from? All Russian troops have been killed, purged by Putin or are 18 year old draftees, deserted back to Russia and are currently cowering behind their mothers’ skirts. I only wish people posting today would look at what they posted yesterday and try to coordinate the disinfo a little better.

Damn you guys are predictable. Every single report that is positive for Ukrainians is ridiculed as an unrealistic claim of a complete Russian defeat, and mocked as being the the 30th such report of complete Russian defeat in the last week.

But those reports don't claim the Russians have been completely defeated, or even routed. The entire theme has been pretty constant -- Russia has encountered more resistance than it expected, the advance is slower than anticipated, and Russia may not have enough troops in Ukraine to win. That does NOT mean that the Ukrainians themselves haven't lost a lot of ground, and a lot of people. It's a very bloody, costly fight that has cost both sides a lot, and the ultimate outcome is still unclear.

For those of you guys who dismiss the idea that the Russian invasion may ultimately fail -- or cost more than the Russianns are willing to accept (same thing) -- do a bit of reading on the two Chechen wars to see how Russia did against a country less than one-twentieth the size of Ukraine.

The Russians may yet win, but that is far from certain at this point.

There is thee main false pretense in western thinking.

They did not enter to WIN, they entered to punish.

And the Chechen war? They simply blew to living hell out of everything and then settled. And now the Chechens are fighting for the Russians.

I fully expect this to escalate beyond any chance of a negotiated deal. The Ukrainian leader needs to settle before whats left of his country becomes nothing but a destroyed ruin.

You no doubt noticed like myself that whenever the warring parties start attempts at negotiations, the fearless leader in this country gets up and stirs the pot more.

Putin is a snake, Zelensky is a poodle, and Biden is a pig faced bastard who wants this to continue...as well as a puppet.

They want war..any war of any type (nuclear is fine it seems) and the propaganda (in this country) reflects that.
