It’s a simple question. Deflection isn’t necessary. I am not from Russia, nor have I ever been to it. You implied that if one does not oppose Russia, then they are a Russian troll.
The question is, why is someone a Russian troll if they do not take sides with Ukraine? I didn’t make the implication you did. I have no interest in Ukraine or Russia. As far as I am concerned, the slavs can drown in eachothers blood. Are you willing to send your kids to die for Ukraine? I am not.

You actually satisfy a number of my criteria for Russian trolls.
1. You make a lot of comments that cast aspersions on a person’s mental state, emotional state, mental competency, cognizance, intellect, and intelligence.
2. You have a history of making unprovoked and profane insults towards people who did not insult you first. Lots of profanities in your posting history. I’m surprised you’re still here.

Virtually every single poster you’re talking about has a signup date within the last two years. They’re sleeper trolls and their relentless posting of questionable articles, outright propaganda and constant posts pushing a singular narrative tell you all you need to know. Possibly they do it for fun, more likely they’re paid to push narratives on political sites, etc. I would list who these posters are but I think it’s against the rules. FR use to be heavily moderated, it doesn’t seem to be these days. <<<
A “sleeper” is not a new account but instead is an old account. That’s the point of a sleeper account. It posts for years and years to establish credibility and then it expends that credibility on a specific topic.
It is specifically the sleeper accounts that I’m working to identify because they have so much data to work with. You can track patterns in their posting when they’ve been around a long time.
4. Most of your posts are of the ‘drive-by’ variety with the short one or two sentence posts favored by trolls who get paid by the post.
5. Several of your recent insults and metaphors are Russian and Eastern European metaphors that were directly translated into English. Memo: They really don’t work so well in English. Get some better insults.
6. Your English language comprehension and composition skills declined significantly after late August 2021. Indicating that either you suffered a head injury or the account was being used by a different person prior to that time. Your posting history speaks for itself here.
Am I saying you’re a paid troll?
Not yet.
But so far you’re passing the duck test.

I did not imply any such thing. I proposed that Russian trolls would be along to mindlessly insult the OP.
As to deflection, that’s what you’re doing here. You’ve set up a classic straw man argument in which you assign a meaning to my post that clearly isn’t there and then you both argue against it and you badger me to defend a position I never took in the first place.
In my assessment of actual trolls I list this as a known troll tactic:
“1. The Dodge. When a troll is confronted by information or a question that goes against the narrative they’re advocating they predictably ask challenging, loaded, adversarial, or insulting questions in response. Then they typically demand answers to their questions as a tactic to distract from the questions or information they’re trying to dodge.”
Now if you wish to respond to my actual post you can. But if you’re not a troll and you’re not going to insult the OP to prove my point then wouldn’t logic dictate that ignoring my post and the OP is the best way to prove me wrong?
Because I’d much rather be wrong if it’s all the same to you.

But interesting that you forgot the sleep disorder you’d mentioned in 2002.
Putin is following the form by transferring thousands from Syria, the East (Russo-Chinese border)(https://www.newsweek.com/pentagon-says-russia-may-send-replacement-troops-ukraine-1688855), Abkhazia, South Ossetia and other Balkan remnants from the Georgian War. I have read unsubstantiated rumors that they have drawn down their troops from outliers by 82%, but have not been able to verify that. The interesting thing to me is that IF Russia has diluted its forces by this amount, the Xi might realize that for all the talk about how weak the US has become, then this new war might present an opportunity that China has never had before - reclaiming disputed territory from the Russians in the east, and as a consequence, consolidating Taiwan in the process. Scary thoughts indeed.
