Sitting back and shooting long range rocket artillery is an easy thing to do. Even the smaller systems go 50km.
Begs the question. Why would elite soldiers be congregating in barracks in a location well known to the Russians and within artillery and drone directed missile range? Seems senseless.

1. Sonic booms are doubled for things long enough for people to notice the time gap. This had a single boom; 2. No smoke trail where it was moving; 3. Hypersonic missiles described as “almost impossible to track”, which doesn’t appear to apply to a blazing, white hot shooting star-like object, that even a dude on a street can point his smartphone towards and film (allegedly).
