The headquarters of the 36th Ukrainian Naval Infantry Brigade based in the southern city of Mykolaiv is no more. It is now a pile of rubble, where on Saturday rescuers continued to search for bodies of missing marines.
An early morning rocket attack a day earlier destroyed the base’s barracks where an unknown number of marines were sleeping. It killed more than 40 marines, according to a senior Ukrainian military official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to reveal sensitive military information.
That number would make it one of the single deadliest attacks on Ukrainian forces since the start of the war three weeks ago. But there are indications that the death toll could be much higher.

They are already doing that. Russian “lines” arent really lines, there are too few men covering a very large front.

Speed makes predictability useless — you generally need an interceptor that can move faster than the missile you are trying to intercept.
It is not a ballistic missile. Thats the point of the thing. It has high speed without a predictable trajectory.
And there are such things, which are already used for ballistic missile defense.

I think that video is fake. There is a sound and a camera jerk at impact, but any explosion would be delayed 5 seconds per mile from finite sound speed. Also no explosion is visible. Then, after impact the camera pans back to show a smoke trail, but at no point during the filming of the projectile does it show any trail, even when it passes right above the camera. I think the camera acted the script, filmed a jet plane contrail to the left, and then photoshopped in the missile.
This is like saying Poland or Lithuania are on the CIAs leash. I dont think those people would agree with you.

The invasion has been a total disaster and a bloodbath for the Russians. The whole world is witness to it. They are now reduced to launching rockets from the safety of hundreds of miles away. Indiscriminate firing. Scorched earth. For every dozen or so they fire, one is bound to hit something of value like a school, a maternity hospital, a residential apartment building or some such.
This was supposed to be a superpower military that was going to subdue Ukraine within 72 hrs. What a sad pathetic display.
