The fashion choices of three cosmonauts who just arrived at the International Space Station are raising some eyebrows.
A Russian Soyuz spacecraft carrying Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev and Sergey Korsakov docked with the orbiting lab's new Prichal module today (March 18) at 3:12 p.m. EDT (1912 GMT). About 2.5 hours later, the hatches between the two vehicles opened, and the three newcomers floated aboard the station to greet their seven crewmates.
Everything went according to plan, but the hatch opening was still surprising, because it revealed that Artemyev, Matveev and Korsakov were wearing bright yellow flight suits with blue highlights — the colors of Ukraine.
Artemyev, the Soyuz commander, was asked about the colors during a hatch-opening ceremony webcast by Russia's federal space agency Roscosmos. He responded (in Russian) that there was a surplus of yellow fabric in the warehouse

I think this is a propaganda stunt that went wrong.
Everything about a space flight is planned for months, even years.
My guess is the Putin regime figured by the time the cosmonauts arrived at the ISS, their takeover of Ukraine would be a done deal and having their cosmonauts in Ukrainian colors would be a pretty good way of rubbing it into NATO & Dimjo’s face.
Nah. They slipped into Cosmonaut’s Wearhouse and chose the colors themselves.

One of these guys was born in Latvia and another one was born in Kyrgyzstan.
The blue is much darker...not the blue of the Ukrainian flag, and they have a large Russian flag right there on the front.
