I was out and about today (I live right outside of LA) - including in a local Whole Foods - saw few to no masks - anywhere, inside or out.
Signs were gone on local businesses that said “masks must be worn inside” - went to the vet and sign said “masks strongly recommended.”
Extremely refreshing to see - and talking to people all over - they’re NOT going back to wearing masks. We’ve had it.
1) Ukraine is the ONLY thing that DNC polling has shown created a Biden (and thus Dem) improvement in the numbers. Ukraine is not going to be allowed to end any time soon, and it will have nothing to do with Putin.
2) There is no point in all this BS about panic or no panic. Fear or no fear, as regards the virus. The virus doesn’t care who is afraid or who is calm. No measures taken to stop the deaths have worked. It surges and fades and no one knows its schedule.
3) Elaborating, vax failed. Recovered immunity failed. Masks failed. Lockdowns failed. It has NOTHING to do with fear. The virus doesn’t care. It most particularly doesn’t care about US elections in November when it is erasing people in Russia.
4) You have a choice. You can do nothing or do something. Doing nothing requires no additional thought, though for conscience balm you may want to stop talking to your parents or grandparents. Doing something requires thought since measures available to you are so few, or singular.
5) Singular as in . . . evacuation. Stop being around people. Nothing, repeat, nothing else works.
