[Ukraine is getting flattened by every standard. No calls for negotiations, just war, war war…by Zelensky and the west. The Ukrainian people are suffering for the fraud of a leader, Zelensky.

Wake up people.]

Ultimately, Ukraine needs to inflict enough of a toll on Russia to persuade its rulers that the cost-benefit ratio doesn’t compute. Written guarantees mean nothing. The Budapest Memorandum, which guaranteed Ukraine’s undivided sovereignty, was torn up by Putin in 2014, when he invaded Crimea and took parts of the Donbass.

Remember when Hitler said, after annexing Czechoslovakia, “This is my last territorial demand in Europe”? That’s about what agreements with Russia are worth.

Russia lost 5,700 men in Chechnya in the first campaign, which lasted just under 21 months. It came back for a second round, in which it lost 7,000 men over 9 months, but prevailed. If Ukraine can inflict 100,000 KIA on Russia over the next 2 years, I suspect the Russian appetite for future invasions will be sated for at least the next few decades.

Pilsudski’s Miracle on the Vistula, which secured Poland’s independence after centuries of Russian rule, killed 60,000 Russians. As a target, 100,000 dead Russians is probably on the conservative side, but the costs of war on native soil are so large that it probably pays to buy a little insurance.

Also, when you read someone saying “Wake Up People” you know you are dealing with an ignoramus and usually a dishonest one at that, just like people who use “Equity”, “Racism”, “Sheeple” or automatically label anything that doesn’t fit their viewpoint ‘fake news’ even if they like the source when it says something which they agree with.

One more Good Russian.

——-
You should post sources, fact is Ukraine tore up the 2014 Minsk Agreements, the basis for Putin’s moves. Zelensky and the Ukrainian government is corrupted beyond all belief. Both sides deserve NO support.

Soros, Zelensky, the Demoncrats are all calling for war, never heard a call for negotiations yet. Careful who you back, there are no white hats in this regional conflict. Ukraine is losing, badly, and their calls for no fly zones, weapons, aircraft illustrate their desperation….desperate for world war.

I read an article on Russian demographics. The average age of the Russian citizen is 40. The country has a shortage of young males to take the casualties it did during WW2...and partly because of the killing off of a generation of young men that would have fathered more children.

The Soviets pulled out of Afghanistan in part because of its losses that led to what was called “the revolt of the mothers.” I’ve seen reporting that a second ‘revolt of the mothers’ may be brewing right now. And link that to the anti-war movement that appears to have started.

Putin is bringing in Chechens and Syrians because he can’t afford the losses he is taking.
