I wouldn’t go that far. Like I said, Ukrainians have at least 10m men (ages 18-60) drafted under the general mobilization order. They have plenty of manpower. If Hoeft was a typist, they don’t need one illiterate in Ukrainian. If Hoeft was a truck driver, they don’t need one unfamiliar with the Ukrainian alphabet, let alone the language. The only foreigners who can add value are those with combat experience.
