My mom’s hometown. I visited her parents there in my youth, where they lived in the inner city (row house.) It was getting bad back then in the late 60’s, early 70’s. But it wasn’t yet a murder capital.

The NATION of my (our) youth is crumbling and descending into chaos. Mostly in Dem-run cities, yes, but it's a disease that is spreading far and wide.

I know what you mean, the city of my youth is about 17 miles south of you, Chester. I attended my 50th High School Reunion in 2013, I was shocked by the condition of the city. The whole place should be leveled.

Chestnut Hill native to Philadelphia. Family there since the 1700's. Every last one of us left between 1993 and 1998.

I kept my horse at the stables on Cathedral Avenue. I spent 30 years riding Fairmount Park. I grew up as a kid that way. Every Friday and Saturday night we rode the trails.

After Frank Rizzo left office the city turned into a real $hit hole of horrible people. The suburbs are full of woke lefties and the city is full of animals. Almost like a giant zoo with no fence.

Thatcher Longstreth did his best to keep Chestnut Hill a decent place but he couldn't be around forever.
