It’s just that technology has changed since, for example, the Gulf Wars when there were live feeds of the war on CNN or Fox News.
It may seem to you the opposite, but in fact there is a lot more information available regarding this war than was available in, for example, the Gulf Wars because cellphones are everywhere and countless people on the ground in Ukraine constantly upload videos to telegram, tiktok, twitter and other social media sites.
The problem with cellphone videos is they are anonymous, they are rarely validated and more often than not it’s hard to tell exactly what is going on.
It’s pretty common even in videos not associated with this topic for things to be passed off as something it isn’t.
You’ll see something like a video of one guy sucker-punching another guy - it’s offered up as “MAGA Trump guy sneaky-punches helpless Democrat”.
Elsewhere it’s offered up as “Democrat attacks peaceful Trump voter”.
It’s a Rorschach ink blot.
