We raise the animals, especially pigs and export the carcasses. The Chinese process the meat and return it to us ... filled with who knows what. It is hard to believe that it is cheaper for the meat to go from the USA to China and back again than it is to process it here but it must be so.
Are we also still doing that with chickens we raise here?
