Ukrainian general says Polish MiG fighter jets and no-fly zone are desperately needed to counter Russian gains

Despite shooting down nearly 70 Russian airplanes and another 80 helicopters, the Ukrainian air force has suffered its own losses that have given the Russians an even more decisive 10-to-1 advantage in the air, threatening a “catastrophe” for his country, a top Ukrainian general said on Tuesday.

The loss of its own fighter jets and other aircraft has made it all the more urgent that Ukraine receive Soviet-era MiG-29 fighter jets from Poland and that NATO impose a no-fly zone over at least some regions of the country, said Col. Gen. Serhii Drozdov, the former chief of the Ukrainian air force and a key member of the country’s defense ministry, in an interview for the Yahoo News “Skullduggery” podcast.

Well then, he should buy the MIGs from Poland and put up said No-Fly-Zone himself, or did he spend all his dough bribing the Biden Crime Family?

“No Fly” zones are doing to war what restrictor plates did to NASCAR.

Our media is obsessed with Kiev. There is almost no fighting going on in Kiev. The focus of combat is in the east, in the Donbas.

An Indian journalist has written a quote from a Pentagon official saying that the Russian Air Force is flying 200 war sorties per day. This is in conflict with the popular narrative that the Russian Air Force is performing horribly because they are not skilled in large-scale maneuvers. The reason for this conflict in understanding is that the Russian aircraft have standoff weapons.

These have been around for decades. The Russian sorties are being flown over Russian territory, and they launched their weaponry against the Donbas targets from that far away. They have inertial guidance and indeed Russia has its own version of GPS called GLONASS, though through the years they have shown a disinclination to rely on it for weapon targeting, because glonass and GPS both can be jammed. These weapons are longer range versions of SRAM on B-52s.

Russia has not been stopped on the approach to Kiev. They’re waiting for the forces that are wiping out the bulk of the Ukraine Army, which has been positioned in the Donbas. Then those forces will had either directly west or around the border of the country westward to join with the Belarus originating forces and we’ll complete the encirclement of Kiev and it’s strangulation.

Recall that the Belarus border is quite close to Kiev, less than 100 miles as I recall. When the Donbas is complete and the campaign against Kiev begins, Air Force sorties again will not require much flying over Ukraine territory. This is why so many can be flown per day. They need not be based in Ukraine. They have a very short distance to return to their base to rearm.

Michael Isikoff was one of the primary Russian Collusion Hoax spreaders, a willing conduit and media amplifier for FBI lies.

Isikoff was one of the 2 or 3 most prominent media conduits for FBI lies; he was mentioned quite a bit in the Stzrok-Page texts. According to them, he was a willing and witting participant in the Russia Collusion Hoax. So was David Ignatius. Both are still leading media figures, no punishment at all.

Oh, nonsense. Russia’s already losing...I see it all day everyday. Doesn’t sound like they need help from the way people talk.

I’ve heard from the talking head military experts on TV that Russia has air superiority. Then they most certainly would shoot these planes down on the way to Ukraine or destroy them on the ground once they got there. This blabbering about giving them planes is nothing but BS. If Russia would let this happen, they are more incompetent than the media is trying to make us believe.

Where are the photos of all these 150 aircraft shot down??

What garbage. Isikoff has to be on the CIA payroll as is Ignatius and half the corrupt DC journalists.

Even Fox is filled with the “for hire” bunch.

The Russian warplan was immediate collapse - failed.

The Ukrainian warplan was US war with Russia - hasn’t failed yet.

No plan survives contact with the enemy.
