A satellite image The War Zone has obtained from Planet Labs confirms that Ukrainian forces have damaged and destroyed a number of Russian helicopters, and caused other damage, in an attack on Kherson Airbase in the southern part of the country today. This is the second major Ukrainian attack in as many weeks on this base. Russian forces first claimed to have taken control of Kherson, which occupies a strategic location on the northern shore of the Dnieper River, some two weeks ago.

Maybe Russian can buy some from Afghanistan. ?
Blackhawks?
The SWIFT payment system is down for Russia.
Speedy - what time is it for you in Ukraine?
I am also curious how much you are getting paid for each post?
But is it true?
China can put it on their Bank America Card for them and take repayment in wheat.
If Biden doesn’t like that too bad or the CCP will ban the WH from TikTok.
Is that the only kind Joe gave the Taliban?
Maybe Russia can deliver Rubles to the Taliban.
Each Ruble is worth less than 1 cent.
I’m the Ghost of Kyiv. I live in a black hole in your mind.
33 UH-60 Blackhawks
43 MD-530s light chopper
“Each Ruble is worth less than 1 cent.”
The US dollar isn’t worth much more and we aren’t even being sanctioned. What’s your point?
You should have a look at the post. People are using publicly available satellite imagery to check Ukrainian claims, both this week and last week, with which they disagree because the visible damage is not to the extent claimed. If you want the truth that is one way to get closer to it.
A proper way to complain would be to obtain this satellite imagery yourself and show the world why they are wrong.
Not a bad complement of copters.
Gotta subtract the ones Beijing took for reverse engineering purposes and the ones the Talibunnies have wrecked by playing with them.
Might be a dozen left now.
Russia doesn’t have decisive air superiority. Can’t venture out in real force against Javelins, etc… Locals are friendly to Ukrainian troops. I’d say the airbase is in for more of the same.
Soon to be zero functional.
The satellite imaging outfit in question is Planet Labs.

If any pro-Russians want to check or prove claims, this seems like a good way to do it. Just commission imagery from them and ID vehicles and wreckage. Its not going to be perfect but it seems to be good enough to get some objectivity.
Fuel and ordnance add nicely to secondary damage and make damage control much more challenging. 😈

You can fire up the google map of the Kherson Intl. Airport area and geolocate the drone if you want to confirm it for yourself.
