Joe Manchin has done it again.
The senator from West Virginia threw a wrench yesterday into another key element of President Biden’s climate agenda. This time, it’s the nomination of Sarah Bloom Raskin to be the Federal Reserve’s top banking regulator, a role that entails monitoring emerging risks to the U.S. financial system — climate change among them.

Man I am glad Manchin is in office.
Mega bump to Senator Manchin. He has singlehandedly brought down much of Biden’s handlers’ foolishness.
I think when Manchin votes against Biden, it sometimes drags Collins and Murkowski along, giving them a little cover.
Biden's agenda will not stop. Both Saul Omarova and now Raskin will be stopped, but most are getting through and following the "Green New Deal" vision that Biden supports. Omarova and AOC's advisor Robert C. Hockett have worked extensively on their plan to "fundamentally change America", including their vision of a Central Bank, Digital Currency, and a "National Investment Authority" that will fix the climate, income inequality, "capital spreading" (redistribution of wealth) and a host of other communist dreams. People scoff at AOC (myself included) but it is HER agenda that is being pushed so hard.
