Federal employees are paid on a GS (Government Service) scale based on their job classification. There are no adjustments made to the GS scale for the claimed gender of the employee.

There is no gap in pay caused by systemic institutional discrimination against women.

Ditto! Having worked in the federal sector for 35 years, and worked the last 10 years as a federal subcontractor, I can
unequivocally attest that the above statement is absolutely true.

Absolutely. I’m a GS Physicist, a female geophysicist a few cubes over makes more than I do because she’s been in longer and is at a higher pay step. I make more than another female geophysicist a few cubes down...I’ve been in longer. A secretary should NOT be making what we make since we put in the blood, sweat and tears in our education. GS is one of the fairest systems around, do not mess with it!
