I can, using Georgia as a history. He is not operating in the western half. None of his equipment suggests occupation. He will bring the Ukies to the table, force them to honor the Minsk agreements, keep Crimea, fall back to the Russian Seperatist provinces, hold “ elections”, then call it a day. Exactly what he said he would do in his speech ( which apparently no one read).
All bets off if NATO intercedes, or any funny no fly zones implemented.

Looking at Putin's former invasions shows the pattern of his thinking. First was Chechnya, then Georgia, then Syria, and now Ukraine. Each time a bigger battle. The interesting question is what nation is next. Probably Poland.
