Russia is continuing to suffer high-profile military losses, with a GRU military intelligence spy the latest killed in Putin's stalling invasion of Ukraine.
The Kremlin has so far seen the loss of 12 commanders including three key generals, and military experts have slammed their bizarre tactics.
Captain Alexey Glushchak, 31, from Tyumen in Siberia, is the latest major casualty after he was killed in the carnage in Mariupol, but the Russians have given no details of how he was killed.
Russia said in a statement following Glushchak's death: 'Due to the strict secrecy of the military operation, the circumstances of the death of the Tyumen hero are not disclosed.'

More Russian deaths...
...You hate to see it.
LOL!
They still might not let me in because still spell Kiev Kiev and Odessa with 2 S’s.
From all the coverage I’m expecting Zelensky to roll into Moscow square driving a tank any day now. ๐
Supposedly, Putin’s military was reformed to be more like a Western military, with better training, more fluid tactics, and reliable, career NCOs and junior officers. In their absence, senior officers often have to be at the scene of combat to make sure that things are being done properly and to disentangle screwups. That makes for poorer military performance and greater casualties among senior officers.
OTOH, maybe this is how Putin gets rid of those who have fallen out of favor.
Step out of line, get sent to Ukraine and get taken out by enemy fire. No fingerprints that way.
I believe he was a naval officer.
Or to go to a Moscow theater and play some piano.
Maybe he’ll perform for Congress on Wednesday, during his virtual visit.
I do too.
Why they change???
now when they try to pronounce Kiev it sounds like they sayin Queef!
Starfleet
Since God controls the weather, maybe Putin should get the hint
