Obama did that to the military back in 2011. All the brass says that, has to or they probably won’t get promoted.
We got a real problem right now. Reminds me of how bad the schools and universities are infiltrated. I’m not sure if it can be corrected easily, quickly, or at all.
Although there is great significance to the year that our troops were called back from Iraq and many were discharged, the process of turning our officer corps into a group of woke idiots started before 2011, The decline in our military academies and the trickledown effect it had on out officer corps had already been going on for a long time. It paralleled declines in our society and created an opportunity for liberals to begin infiltrating and eventually dominating the command structure.
But even before Obama pulled us out of Iraq conservatives were being purged from the higher ranks and junior officers could see the writing on the wall before that.
When we first met our brother-in-law in the late 80s he seemed like a conservative guy. As late as 2008, around the time he made Major he was still acting like a conservative, but some time after that a definite transition took place, by the time he made Lieutenant Colonel he started parroting leftist talking points. And when he became a full bird it was obvious that he was full on woke.
I do not dispute that the year 2011 has great significance; I just believe that the rot that made the purge of conservatives started before that.
