Now onto a simple hypothetical, back to the Budapest Agreement wherein the Ukes gave up their Nukes in good faith. If they had NOT given up their nukes, would they have been invaded by Russia?
Keep in mind that you’ve already acknowledged they HAVE been invaded by Russia. In case you’re wondering where I’m going with my point... the nukes are OBviously good deterrent. We participated aggressively in removing their deterrent, and they have been invaded twice as a result. Do we owe them just as an aggressive “assured security” like we signed onto in that agreement that they themselves honored? Or are you gonna go down some conspiracy-driven rabbit hole in defending us for reneging on that deal...
