And for what purpose would they bomb a hospital?
Same reason why Russians leveled entire cities in Chechnya killing something like 150-250,000 men, women and children in recent memory in the second Chechen war. Or why they took men out into fields and gang raped them in front of the women in Chechnya. Or same reason why Russian “liberators” in WW2 raped every woman and child they got their hands on, even impaling the children through their genitals with bayonets after the deed was done. Or same reason why Russian soldiers rape each other even today, and why officers pimp out young soldiers for forced homosexual prostitution, to such an extreme extent that there are large numbers of suicides every year.
Because this is a brutal, inhuman army of Orcs and Goblins even worse than the Orc army we saw in LOTR. Fortunately, they also appear to be far less effective than that Orc army as well.
Russia bombed 270 hospitals and medical facilities in Syria some with foreign aid medical people.
This is SOP for communicating to civilians, there isn’t anything they won’t do.

1. The Kremlin official line in February was that they were going in to defend the Russian people in Mariopol who were being oppressed by the Azov. Implication being, “save the citizens”.
2. The only army FLATTENING that city and starving out the civilians, is the Russian one. They are killing their own people.
3. Putin wants a coastal corridor bridging all Russian occupied areas.
4. Mariopol is in the way.
That’s all there is to it.
Saving its people is not the mission, and never was.
Putin would rather have a big crater under Russian control, with a tank convoy able to pass through it totally unhindered, than have a functioning city with traffic lights and protesting pedestrians.
He doesn’t have an atom of compassion. If he did he wouldn’t have ordered his troops SIX TIMES to bomb the humanitarian corridors.
It really is that simple.
