Michigan just approved to give GM 66M for EV car plant and battery plant.
I keep thinking of all the mechanics that will lose jobs, diesal, truck, etc when EV’s hit the road. Then you have auto supply companies for transmission parts and other gas fueled car parts that will no longer be high demand service.
It’s going to be a LONG transition, much longer than the “experts” are forecasting.
I’d be very confident telling a young person to get into the job of auto technician today.
