23 this morning in South Alabama. Twenty-three!
With four hungry children and a crop in the fields.
You picked a fine time to freeze me, Lucille.
Wow that is cold!! We are lucky down here except during storm season. But, no one ever said anywhere or anyone is 100%.Gotta take the good with the Biden.
I don't think Mitch has ever had serious pressure on his leadership position since he took up the position of Leader of the Republican Caucus in 2007.
There's always the excuse of those out of power within the party that "there's no one to challenge him."
Well, there is now, and he's got the backing of the most popular ex-president amongst Republicans since Reagan.
Found this gem on Ace of Spades. Very interesting take on the power struggle in the GOP
Is that why MARIA is giving RINO LINDA an audience today? Food for thought
LOL!
We had snow from about 10 - 3 yesterday. Mostly big, beautiful flakes swirling in a decent breeze. It looked like a blizzard at times. Roads & sidewalks are fine. Mom went out in the middle of it to pick daffodils which are in full bloom around here. She had them spread out on newspapers on the kitchen floor, letting the snow melt. She ended up with 3 huge bouquets & they are all going to the neighbors.
It was supposed to be a low of 20 last night. Being March, the snow won’t last long! :-)
Ha! I’ll see your “23 this morning in South Alabama” and lower it to 19 here in Aiken County, SC. We were in the 70’s two days ago and figured winter was over. Nope! Old man weather fooled us again :)
