The Ukraine mess is also a convenient distraction from/excuse for Biden’s domestic disasters like inflation, supply chain problems, Covid, open southern border, rising food and fuels prices, etc. If it were up to Biden, he would like to keep the war going until the midterms.
It will take Russia another 3-6 months to take over. So yes, this will be a prime media distraction from the horrors of Biden for at least until the midterms.
