Far-right activist Ammon Bundy, who’s running for governor in Idaho, has been arrested after refusing to leave a hospital in connection with a child-welfare case, police said Saturday.
Bundy was arrested at about 1:15 a.m. on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing at St. Luke’s Meridian Medical Center in Meridian, west of Boise, the Idaho Statesman reported.
Bundy is well-known for participating in armed standoffs with law enforcement, notably at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon in 2016, which left one man dead, and on federal land near his family’s ranch in Nevada in 2014.

Frankly, there isn’t enough information to have an opinion on whether the infant in question is in need of protection or the victim of medical kidnapping.
The problem in this situation is that parents with weird food habits/beliefs have starved their children to death unintentionally and also that medical kidnapping by incompetent doctors with a bug up their butt also happens.
Yes, numerous people have been medically kidnapped during the covid.

It has always happened and it’s usually infants and toddlers who have rare diseases where the parents get blamed for failure to thrive unless/until the real underlying cause is discovered.
Or after diagnosis the doctors and the parents disagree on treatment.
A normal healthy infant does not lose weight unless they are ill or somebody is not meeting their dietary needs in an appropriate manner. It’s either one or the other.
