Give it up.

Kemp is pretty hard nosed big C conservative. Telling me Georgia is lost
because Kemp is winning is ridiculous.

There was investigation and investigation after investigation and court case after court case and Trump lost. Period.

Does that make much of a difference?
I had no problem switching to Dem to vote for Hillary in Rush’s Op Chaos back in 2008.

Answer me this. When has Fox News political polling EVER been accurate?
The same Fox News that willingly took Gov’t money to propagate CDC BS to all of us about the Experimental Jabs? And continues to do so.
The same Fox News that called Arizona very early for Dementia Joe but refused to call several other states which Trump won handily?
Give me a break people. If this influences you you are fools.

When it gets closer to the primary Trump will take over and make it Kemp vs Trump. That will stop this foolishness.

Kemp made it happen.

He’s a looser.

“Is that the setup like California where they often wind up with two Democrats in the Nov election?”

No, only Washington and Louisiana aside from California have that type of system, intended to help Democrats but it actually works the other way around in Louisiana (Washington and California are lost causes).

Ranked (”Rigged”) Choice Voting in Alaska first of all means that 4 candidates advance to the general election from the all-party primary in August. Obviously Murkowski will be 1 of those 4.

In November, voters “rank” the 4 candidates. If no candidate gets 50% of the vote — 50% of voter’s “first choice”s — then the 4th place candidate is eliminated and whoever those voters picked as their #2 choice is counted. If STILL no candidate breaks 50% then the 3rd place candidate is eliminated and THEIR second-choice votes are allocated among the 2 survivors.

Yes it’s confusing, as it is meant to be.

The bottom line is that whoever the 3rd and 4th place candidates are in this race — some Democrat and some even more trivial candidate — it is highly likely that Murkowski will be their #2 choice because she is FAR better known (though I fail to see why that should be a positive) and because her “moderate” views are far more in line with Democrats/Indies/RINO squishes than Kelly’s supposedly “hard-line” conservatism.

It will be an upset of mammoth proportions if a conservative challenger can win under this system, even in a so-called Republican state like Alaska. Alaska may be “Republican”, but the majority of voters are by no means conservative.

“Governors are not that important. Look at DeWine. His damage is confined to Ohio. As a senator his excrement affects all of us.”

Understand, and TOTALLY AGREE on your point here, regarding Republican governors, although Democrat governors can do horrific damage.

Thankfully Abbott wound up not being seriously threatened here in Texas as having Beto within striking distance should scare the hell out of the Texans, if not the country. But now he’s an asterisk in November.

“Then why didn’t GA GOP close their primary?”

For one thing GA doesn’t even have party registration, and even in closed primaries people can always temporarily change over — remember “Operation Chaos”?

Well if Herschel Walker is the best candidate they can come up with for Senate, its not lost, but certainly in trouble.

Thanks for the info.
Sounds like a very bad way to do elections.

Please provide proof on that. all I see is they checked fulton out well after the election, and that gave them time to purge the systems.

Kemp and that POS SOS unilaterally changed election law outside of the set times for such changes to be allowed, and it allowed the steal to occur.

The top two vote-getters will be Republicans. They should allow only one per party.

Even worse, the Alaska legislature didn’t directly foist this on the people of Alaska — they voted for it in 2020, by a very narrow margin after a big-money propaganda campaign financed (presumably) just about entirely by out-of-state Democrat money.

It’s basically a scheme to marginalize conservatives, and as such is highly likely to be adopted in more states — Republican states — in the not too distant future. It was said that Missouri, with their ultra-RINO piece of shit Governor, was considering implementing Rigged Choice Voting.

Maine has this system too, and Susan Collins proved in 2020 that a “moderate” candidate can prevail easily — just like Murkowski will prove in Alaska in November — but a conservative candidate stands little chance.
