Sort of like our moronic senior senator (Bob Casey, Jr.) who made a show vote against some moronic U.S. Senate resolution that would have proclaimed convicted cop killer Mumbia some sort of hero?

Both sides blame the other, begging for funds and votes and promising to “fix all the problems” if only we can get a “few more” people on “our side”. But it is ALL Kabuki Theatre and has been for decades - how many times has the GOP held The White House, the Senate, AND The House of Representatives and still not passed ANYTHING that was promised to us during the campaigns?
They point fingers at each in the public sphere and then retreat behind closed doors and cut deals to benefit them, their families, and the lobbyists for whom they actually work, laughing at us “dumb rubes” the whole time!
And as long as we all stay mad at each other, we are too pre-occupied to realize what they are doing, which is why they have been able to get away with it for so long!

I have been thinking the same thing, maybe he was smacked upside the head with a big dose of reality.
At the end of the second paragraph (which is where I stopped wasting my time) you know that Maher is just flapping his lips. He’s really learned nothing. How can he not see the big picture by now? If he cannot respect the gifts greatest President (albeit a flawed man) of our lifetime I have nothing for the dunce.

Because they were the bad guy, but now they’re less the bad guy. We’ve got to find a better way to play this game than who’s the bad guy of the week we’re not buying oil from?”

Yes, he is doing it “lately” but not “too late”.
Yes. And that is a record high for me. Usually it’s been one or two times a year. About every six months, he says something that appears reasonable in order to fool his audience. But lately he has lost his calendar or lost track of time or something because he has made sense, as you say, about six times in the past 12 months. It’s a pandemic!

Whoa. Now that’s a big step for Maher. You wonder now just many other people are starting to come around.

The other guy that has really shocked me is Russell Brand, he’s really come around too, thought he used to be the typical brain-dead liberal.
Keep in mind that he is trying to keep his ratings, because the other shows have all lost ratings with Trump being out of the WH.
