Mosquitoes are one of the few instances where I pray to God and ask “Why?”
In the Old South, before air conditioning, people sat on the front porch, drinking something, while on a swing or a rocking chair for the faint breeze. If you walked by on the the street, you would see these people waving, and you would wave ‘hello’ back. Reality was, they were swatting mosquitoes.
