(CNN)When I meet people and they find out I am a political reporter, they inevitably -- and immediately -- ask some version of this question: "Is he going to run again? And can he win?"
The "he" there -- just in case you've spent the last six years on another planet -- is Donald Trump.
And the answers to those questions are "probably yes" and "definitely." As in, yes, Trump is probably going to run for president again in 2024. And, yes, he would have a very real chance of winning.
(Excerpt) Read more at cnn.com ...
Trump becomes the “presumptive nominee” the day he announces his candidacy. So no campaign budget needed for primaries.
OTOH you could definitely see a prolonged contest on the Dem side with a very weak Biden or Kamala, and the usual suspects from the last time around.
If Trump wins he needs to bring in some Yuge fracking rigs to drill and then pump out The Swamp.
He can win if computer voting machines are banned and vote harvesting and finding votes after the Democrat is found to be losing.
Well NOBODY should be acting surprised if it happens again...
If Trump wins all his hires must be free of the stink of D.C. he should be picking exclusively from the deep bench of the states. The self-serving creeps of the Beltway need to be excluded.
It’s our job to get rid of the Bush League Republicans.
Even the ones Trump endorses.
Re-electing people who repeatedly betray you is just retarded.
he won in 2020. but they cheated in the open... and nothing was done to stop it.
why do you think anything will be different this time?
There! Fixed it.
Trump won 10 million more votes in 2020 than 2016 and he can do it again.
Go Trump!
he won in 2020. but they cheated in the open... and nothing was done to stop it.Because if Trump runs, which I believe he will, then Trump thinks he can win. Which is good enough for me.
why do you think anything will be different this time?
Trump/DeSantis: Unbeatable
Well, he’s got my vote.
BUT if he wins, he’s going to need to drain the swamp in a way that he didn’t in the first term. No more swamp creatures, no more establishment whores with Yale degrees... Personnel is policy, and Trump has got to get over his Ivy League bigshot fetish. No more Boltons, Barrs, Wrays etc
I would like to know what people suggest that he could do when:
1. Search engines marginalize positive results about him
2. TV stations refuse to air his commercials
3. Websites refuse to show his ads
4. His website is taken offline
5. His fundraising is shut down
6. His accounts are shut down
7. Venues refuse to hold his events
8. Every attempt is made to invalidate his eligibility to run
Sure he can win but it really doesn’t matter. Trump won’t/can’t fix the current state of the country. Too many traitors in the ranks. We are too far down the rabbit hole. It would require suspending the Constitution, executing hundreds, arresting thousands, and deporting millions just to steer away from the iceberg. We’re not going to vote our way out of this anymore than Romans in the third century AD could vote against the collapse of their culture. Donald Trump is too nice of a guy and doesn’t have the personal constitution to do what needs to be done. Admirable traits in a gentleman, not so much when your country is going down the shitter in such a spectacular fashion. So stock up, tell your kids you love them, and kiss your country goodbye.
Democrats can shred 20 million votes for Republicans and forge 20 million votes for Democrats in 2024.
Just as people were told in 2020, the Deep State *will not* let Trump become POTUS again. Ever! So, I don’t think he wins if he runs in 2024.
And, even if she doesn’t run, Hillary has a 99.8% chance of winning. :)
OMG.
You are so correct! Trump has made some horrible endorsements.
