I love Trump.. but honestly... I hope he doesn’t run and DeSantis does. Because if they both run Trump will destroy him, and I don’t want that.
DeSantis won’t run if Trump runs in 2024. You only have your window of opportunity once. Who knows what America will be like in ‘24 and ‘28. But DeSantis’ window might be in ‘24. Obama was 47 in ‘08. DeSantis will be 46 in ‘24. After that, he might be “old news” and the political landscape might favor Democrats again by then.

Once again, How quickly you turn on he who “brung you to the dance”. DeSantis will have his turn in 2028; he’s a young man, and my Gov thank goodness. Trump knows where all the bodies lie and wants revenge. Revenge is a great motivator.
Plus he knows business and how to get our energy industry, border, etc. back on their feet. He doesn’t have to start from square one. Trump 2024; DeSantis 2028. I love them both, but I will never stab Trump, whom I consider one of the greatest policy Presidents ever, in the back with a stiletto. Et tu Brute?
