I remember having to carry around a damned useless (until you need it) gas mask for years. It’s standard equipment that all soldiers have to carry.
The deep state doe not even need a real gas attack in order to report to the entire world that one happened. A few years ago they hired actors in the middle east to pretend there had been a gas attack. They laid people out on the ground and such. Had them all act the parts. They actually faked it.
They are tipping their hand by pre-announcing all of this.

And they should. If those masks are from WW II I can promise you the filters are worthless. And also without the proper suits to don like our MOPP kits, the chemicals can be absorbed through the skin. I’m not seeing any hoods for these masks which means skin will be exposed.
The US now uses the M40. The M40 was the result of a program in the 1980s to develop a successor to the M17-series protective masks which had been in service with the US armed forces since 1959. The M40 was to be a return to conventional protective mask design with an external side-mounted filter canister, rather than the internal cheek filters of the M17, which were awkward to change, especially in a contaminated environment.
However, these new masks suffer from the inadequate protective capabilities of their face pieces, which was of a silicone rubber susceptible to corrosion from blister agents. Additionally, none of the older or new masks are even effective against ammonia.
If they use those masks, and they are exposed, they won’t last long.
