Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has reportedly planned to release a biography to cement his career while some Republicans seek to end it.
Allowing the Associated Press and New York Times reporters to chronicle his rise to power throughout his 38-year Senate career, the title of his biography will be The Price of Power, echoing the biographies about Lyndon Johnson by Robert Caro, Axios reported.

We will not get new leadership without new membership.
As long as we keep re-electing Mitch’s bitches, they will keep him in leadership.
Crapo, Lee, Thune, Grassley, Moran, Lankford, Young, Scott, Boozman, Murkowsky and Amnesty Senators Rubio and Hoeven all need to be primaried and replaced.
How he bailed out Democrats?
Is the list of CR voting asst. ‘rats up yet?
Yep
Should be called The Price of Betrayal
Senators only write books when they are looking for laundered money!
Not that I can find.
“The Price of Power”
He could actually do a real service to the country.
On his way out the door . . .
Provide an actual list of all of the graft and theft he amassed over the years: Who paid, how much, and what for.
The actual Price of Power.
THAT would be a good read.
Suggested title: The Turtle and his rolling log.
Thanks.
I looked this morning and found nothing I could access.
Now searching again. It’s got to come out soon.
Mitch did not do much for America over his 38 years in office other than get rich off his wife’s ownership of the shipping company located in China. He did even less for the RNC.
He kept the borders open for 30+ million illegal aliens, the new permanent Democrat majority that Bush League Republicans like McConnell have spent their careers importing.
I thought “Yertle the Turtle” was already released many years ago!
Retire now and who would be the 3 nominees put up by the GOP elite to succeed him? Rat Governor. My choices: Massie, the young Atty. General, plus someone else-don’t know.
I was going to say, The Price of Power, subtitle the Mitch McConnell Crime Family story has already been covered by Peter Schweizer.
Just checking and you said it first and differently.
retire?
jump off the capital there Mitch please
Barrasso (R-WY) Blunt (R-MO) Capito (R-WV) Collins (R-ME) Cornyn (R-TX) Ernst (R-IA) Graham (R-SC) Grassley (R-IA) Hyde-Smith (R-MS) McConnell (R-KY) Moran (R-KS) Murkowski (R-AK) Portman (R-OH) Shelby (R-AL) Thune (R-SD) Tuberville (R-AL) Wicker (R-MS) Young (R-IN)
Oh please dude, you will not even be a microscopic speck in history, as if history still matters because it is rewritten daily to suit the latest modern regimes ideology which doesn’t seem to matter to you one way or the other.
So don’t bother. Just retire, enjoy the ill gotten gains from you meaningless career which did nothing to serve anyone but yourself, and get the hell out because you have nothing to say that anyone would care to hear about.
Thanks.
I was wondering if Rounds was going to take Thune’s place this time around.
Thune claims he wants to be re-elected. McConnell seems to have made Rounds provide cover for Thune in the recent past, but not this time for some reason.
